Clear (Ceramic) Braces

Metal Braces - The most common type of braces today are metal braces.  Today they are smaller, more comfortable, and less noticeable than ever before.  Metal braces are made from a high-grade stainless steel.  Elastics (rubber bands) are used to tie in the wires to the brackets and come in a variety of colors, allowing you to create a unique style every month.

Clear Braces - Clear braces are made from a translucent ceramic material.  This allows the brackets to blend in well with the natural tooth color, making them much less visible to other people.  Because they are more aesthetic, ceramic braces are a popular choice for older teenagers and adults that have concerns about the cosmetics of metal braces.
