Dr. Douglas Tinloy

Dr. Douglas Tinloy was born and raised in Oakland and has lived in the Bay Area his entire life.  He attended the University of California at San Francisco, School of Dentistry where he was a Regents Scholar, graduated first in his class, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and certificate in Orthodontics. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.*  

Dr. Tinloy has practiced orthodontics with Dr. Harry Chin in their offices in San Francisco and Oakland for over 35 years.  Dr. Tinloy will soon practice exclusively in the Oakland office with his son, Dr. Jeff Tinloy.  Dr. Tinloy is proud of his three successful sons, their wives, and his seven grandchildren.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Elena, their family, and friends.   He also enjoys traveling, and playing tennis. 

Dr. Jeff Tinloy - “Dr. Jeff”

Dr. Jeff was born and raised in the Bay Area. He attended college at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA as part of an accelerated 2 year pre-dental program. Dr. Jeff then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry located in San Francisco, CA. He graduated from dental school with high honors as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors society. From there, Dr. Jeff went on to complete his Orthodontic education at the Dugoni School of Dentistry with a degree of Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). After graduation he was happy to join his father, Dr. Douglas Tinloy, in his established Orthodontic practice. Dr. Jeff furthered his achievements in the field by becoming an American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Board Certified Orthodontist.*

In his free time, Dr. Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, cooking, and wood working.
